OTP22 is a long-running (since 2012) Alternate reality game, involving among many other things: decoding encrypted messages received by interacting with phone numbers, collecting dead drops, and playing with odd electronic hardware.

In the OTP22 story, players take the role of a counter-operation trying to eavesdrop on and disrupt the operations of a secret organization called WORM.

We are currently in a second incarnation of OTP22, which started in early 2023. Although sometimes called a 'reboot', this run maintains continuity with the original story of OTP22 (2012-2017), while adding new systems, characters, and ways to interact with the game.

• 2023/10/06: New dead drop! Tuktoyaktuk drop images were found on Felicity's voicemail.
• 2023/09/21: Dead drop news! The Federal Way drop has been retrieved, and we're waiting for the items to be shipped. Meanwhile, we discovered a new mysterious one! See Slide Cemetery drop.
• 2023/09/16: New dead drop! Felicity agreed to share a password to protected entries in her journal. This led to discovery of the coordinates for the Federal Way drop.
• 2023/09/11: We have gained access to the Emtanon portal and we're now able to interact with the amber terminal.

• 2023/09/09: The site now hosts some tools that can be used to streamline message decoding. See Tools.
• 2023/08/27: More stego messages found in the El Paso drop image files.
• 2023/08/11: Thanks to a code found in one of the files in the El Paso drop we managed to unlock the agent system and intercept a whole lot of Blue OTP messages. They are being posted here as they are decoded.
• 2023/08/08: The contents of Felicity's diary have been OCRd and can be found on the linked page.
• 2023/08/06: The new OTP22 Wiki at otp22.org is established. There is nothing here yet, so feel free to contribute!
