This dead drop appeared on agent code 301 on April 4, 2024: LFL 96704. It consisted of a book placed in a Little Free Library, like the earlier Ruston drop. While the title had not been mentioned directly, a conversation on the green terminal suggested that it's Slate Deposits in the Intermountain West.

Slate Deposits in the Intermountain West (2024 edition) with handwriting in the “Field Notes” section. The writing included coordinates for the Gatlinburg drop (“Drop 1”) and another drop in Nashville (“Drop 2”).

Drop 2 turned out to be a piece of paper from the Conrad New York Downtown hotel (which had been visited by the agent who placed this drop) with more handwritten notes, hidden in a hole of a tree trunk.
