El Paso drop

Background
The drop was placed on the evening of July 23. Its placement was discussed live on the green terminal. The intended recipient was the unnamed agent 16498. However, he was arrested by the U.S. federal agents around July 27, allowing us to retrieve it instead.

Hidden messages
The image files contain encoded messages (see Steganography), as of now we were able to decode three of them. Analysing the files with stegseek shows there are possible payloads in each of them.

However, we have determined that she is an inside person working for the counter-operation. She then somehow escaped the island in the dead of night on a supply ship destined for Brazil who was also in on it. We believe that someone on the inside at Emtanon made a substantial overpayment to the supply ship contractor, which was intended to be the fee for her escape, as well as incentivize the contractor to stop work for us. She still has a substantial amount of money, and has been traced back to Ocracoke, North Carolina, and has been secretly making her way up the eastern coast of the United States. Her whereabouts are elusive, but we leave your team to work with our Shadow Team to figure out her whereabouts, so she can be transported to the facility for further questioning. We also have learned that she has very sensitive information that can compromise several important initiatives of Emtanon. We suspect she will be trying to pass this information on to the counter-operation. It is believed that the counter-operation is trying to discover how to access our systems, whether it be through our portal, or calling random phone numbers throughout the United States to discover the new agent system numbers, among other systems. The counter-operatives may seem harmless, drifting about with no life direction, forms of employment, often living with their mother in basements, and binge watching cable television. However, idle minds are the devil's workshop. This new blue OTP will give you access to our messaging infrastructure so you can receive further commands. |
