Dead drops

A dead drop is a method of espionage tradecraft used to pass items or information between two individuals using a secret location.

Wikipedia

A major element of OTP22 is retrieving dead drops placed in the real world by the characters. They are very similar to geocaches.

WORM uses dead drops to distribute one-time pads and other mission critical information to its field agents; the coordinates and/or photographs are announced on the Agent systems. Felicity and Jeff use them to aid us in disrupting WORM.
