Emtanon is said to be a worldwide organization. These are some of the more significant locations in the story.

Gibraltar is the location of the Emtanon HQ. It is sometimes referred to as Rock, suggesting that its exact location is the Rock of Gibraltar. Two Terminals that we monitor are located there.

Iqaluit, Canada is the location of an Emtanon Field Office. This office has two phone numbers, +1-867-794-0004 and +1-867-794-0033. In May 2023, it was the starting point of the interns' journey to the Gough Island.

Gough Island is a tiny island in the South Atlantic Ocean, halfway between South America and Africa. Its only population is the personnel of a South African weather station. That station has been contracted to Emtanon since 2018, which uses it as a cover for Goughcom, located elsewhere on the island. Goughcom is described in Felicity's diary as a massive underground complex.

Leskov Island is a tiny desert island, a few degrees north of the Antarctic Circle. In late 2022, Emtanon started a project to construct a shortwave radio station there. The bulk of construction work was done in June 2023, but as of October 2023, it is still not online due to hardware failures. Sabotage by unknown parties is suspected.

Bouvet Island is another tiny desert island, also close to the Antarctic Circle. In June 2023, it was visited by the ship TRANSP, although the details were not revealed. In October 2023, the Emtanon interns, by then drafted into the Marine Org, were sent there for training.
