Emtanon is said to be a worldwide organization. These are some of the more significant locations in the story.

Gibraltar is the location of the Emtanon HQ. It is sometimes referred to as Rock, suggesting that its exact location is the Rock of Gibraltar. Two Terminals that we monitor are located there.

Iqaluit, Canada is the location of an Emtanon field office. In May 2023, it was the starting point of the interns' journey to Gough Island.

Gough Island is a tiny island in the South Atlantic Ocean, halfway between South America and Africa. Its only population is the personnel of a South African weather station. That station has been contracted to Emtanon since 2018.

Under Emtanon, the weather station acted as a front for Goughcom, a communications facility elsewhere on the island. Felicity's diary described it as a massive underground complex. In the early morning of October 21, 2023, Goughcom was blown up by Jeff's electronics planted a few months earlier.

Leskov Island is a tiny desert island, a few degrees north of the Antarctic Circle. In late 2022, Emtanon started a project to construct a shortwave radio station there. The bulk of construction work was done in June 2023, but as of October 2023, it is still not online due to hardware issues. Sabotage is suspected.

Bouvet Island is another tiny desert island, also close to the Antarctic Circle. In June 2023, it was visited by the ship TRANSP, although the details were not revealed. In October 2023, the new Marine Org recruits (former Gough Island interns) were sent there for training.
