XORFS is a texting system used within the universe.

XORFS messages may be found on AS32 on agent codes 18000 and up. On each code, a text-to-speech voice says:

1. “Blue OTP 1 file start”
2. Ciphertext: hexadecimal numbers spelled using the NATO phonetic alphabet
3. “Offset” followed by the byte position of the key

The messages are encrypted with the XOR cipher, using the file otp-blue-1.bin (1 GB) from the El Paso drop. The keys are fragments of that file, equal in length to the ciphertext.
